Getting Ready

Well this is my first post...so what to write, what to write. Well I guess the first thing that I should mention is how very excited I am for this experience! And second is how very much I am going to miss my family and friends in Iowa.

I cannot wait to see the sights in Argentina, or to advance my Spanish, or to visit a different culture. There are so many things that will be different and new, and I cant wait to experience all of these things. And as I'm sure everyone is aware its alot warmer in Argentina so I'm really excited to get out of this incredibly long winter we've had. (Honestly I have really enjoyed this winter for the most part, but after so long everyone is ready for spring.)

Now for all the things I'm going to miss. I'm going to miss my family most of all! I already feel bad that I will not be there for so many important things; graduation, retirement party, State Basketball, Easter, Birthdays, and so so much more! I hope that all of my family knows that I will be thinking of them when I am away and during those very important times! But I will come back, and I will be eager to hear all about the things I missed.

Well I leave in 6 days, and its comming faster than I ever thought it would. I know that I'm not completely ready and I have had some troubles getting ready for this adventure. But I know that everything will work out. I know that my time in Argentina will go fast at times and will crawl at others. But I'm sure that this will be an experience that I'll look back on and not regret one bit!
